If your are coming to England for the first time or are in the area for a visit then the following must be on your "to do" list:

Windsor Castle.

Stone Henge: This ancient site built around the same time as the pyramids in Egypt. To get there from Heathrow take the M25/M3/A303. It is about 73 miles from Heathrow and should take about 90 mins to get there. As of July 04 the Adult price is £5.20. Although you can easily drive past it and take pictures for free, future development work will ensure visitors must pay the full entrance to be able to get a full look.

Bath is most famous for the Roman Baths which are located in the centre of this town.

Tips

If you are planning to spend the day in London then the "1 day travel card" is for you. Travel after 09:30 for the cheaper rate and return anytime before 02:00 the next morning.
